WHERE DOES THE FOOD COME FROM?
Our food comes from a combination of rescued ingredients from restaurants and events and food purchased wholesale using cash contributions. The Chicago Bridge Project is passionate about rescuing resources and re-purposing those ingredients into healthy and delicious meals for our neighbors who are hungry.

I'M BUSY ON SATURDAYS, HOW CAN I HELP?
There are numerous other ways you can help! We have a wish list of items we use to fulfill our mission. You can contribute right here on the website or make an in-kind contribution directly. We can always use clothing contributions, or you can host a fundraiser in your home.

ARE WE RELIGIOUSLY AFFILIATED?
No. Grace Church of Logan Square generously donates their kitchen space every month, but our organization has no religious affiliation with Grace Church or any other church. Our volunteers come from diverse and colorful backgrounds; all are welcome.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?
You do not need to bring anything on service day. It can get warm in the kitchen year-round so dress appropriately and for the weather. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as there may be a couple of hours of standing during the cooking process and a couple of hours of walking when distributing.
CAN I BRING A FRIEND?
Yes! Bring as many friends as you like- please let us know in advance of your group size (if possible) so we can plan accordingly.
