I began volunteering with CBP about 4 years ago and focused mainly on making greeting cards in the beginning. As the organization grew and evolved my role did as well and today I serve as Executive Director. With a love of cooking and a servant’s heart the idea of using rescued resources to create delicious meals to feed our neighbors in need hits all the buttons for me. I lead our kitchen team (with great and talented volunteers) and work to build our rescue partnerships and discover communities of need where our services can be utilized.

I began working with CBP in 2015 helping with cooking and prep work. Eventually I became part of the lead volunteer team helping with delivery and planning. Later I became part of the board of directors and now serve as the president of the board and work to help coordinate the service days. I do this because I love the people we serve and feel committed to the idea that everyone should have food, clothing and love no matter their personal circumstances.

Ana has been the lead clothing volunteer for the Chicago Bridge Project for 2 years. She is a responsible, caring, and generous person, an ideal fit for the Chicago Bridge Project. Ana serves as a flight attendant for Republic Airline. She loves the perks that come with being a flight attendant, one of which is flexibility it affords her to volunteer. She also enjoys spending time with her family and fur babies.
Jon Cordero-Riccio

Jon served in the Marine Corps for 4 years. Deployed to Iraq in 2007 and was medically discharged in 2010.

Jon has volunteered with the Chicago Bridge Project since 2016. He has been a strategic volunteer since 2016 and has several years of volunteer work in social services and recently worked as a Case Manager with Connections for the Homeless. I truly feel that food and housing are the most basic of human rights and no one should ever go hungry or without a place to stay. He has a passion for helping others which stemmed from his time in the military. His vision - teach everyone about the realities of homelessness and end the stigma that exist.
